MOLLY JOHNSON (vocalist, songwriter) Toronto born and raised, Johnson has been an entertainer since childhood, with training at the National Ballet School and performances in numerous musicals. Her distinctive smoky voice recalls an earlier era and has earned her critical and popular acclaim in Canada and France. She has released 4 albums to date including the Juno Award Winning “Lucky” and was named the 2009 “Female Jazz Vocalist of the Year” at the National Jazz Awards.. Johnson was made an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2007 in recognition of her philanthropic efforts as well as her contributions to Canada’s cultural scene.
