Davide DiRenzo
Biography
DAVIDE DiRENZO (drummer, percussionist) was born in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. He is said to have been a child prodigy “born with sticks in has hands”. He is an alumnus of the University of Toronto’s Jazz Studies program. He is considered one of the most versatile and in-demand drummers in Canada.

He was the house drummer for the ‘Canadian Idol’ television talent competition for three years, and has worked with many of the country’s top performers and recording artists including Jacksoul, Holly Cole, Ashley McIsaac, Melissa Stylianou, Dione Taylor, Heather Bambrick, Eliana Cuevas, Richard Underhill, Bill King, Sarah Slean, Carol Welsman, David WIlcox, and Emilie-Claire Barlow.
Davide DiRenzo was a member of the Peter Smith Quartet when they were featured during the “Sound of Toronto Jazz” Concert Series at the Ontario Science Centre on November 1, 1999.
